While we love when clients book solo boudoir sessions to gift the photos to their partner, couples boudoir portraits are a really fun way to both make and document memories together. It can feel strange to strip down and pose intimately outside of the comfort of your bedroom (and with an audience!), but once you get used to the camera and lights, it's such a fun experience for you both.
Let's highlight the creative sessions we had with Lynn and Nas across their romantic multi-day photography experience!
Bridal Boudoir (on the Wedding Day!)

Lynn & Nas weren't just joining us for a couple's boudoir session; they arrived in Delaware for an elopement!
But we didn't save the sultry photos for just the honeymoon boudoir session. We incorporated boudoir-style portraits into Lynn's getting ready process. She brought along her mother's vintage Victoria's Secret robe. This piece lent itself perfectly for the getting ready portraits that were a little spicier than you typically see at most weddings. The huge mirror in the stunning bathroom at Hobbs and Rose Cottage not only gave her a functional space for her makeup application, but it's always fun to play with reflections in portraits.
Steamy Couples Boudoir Portrait

Lynn and Nas brought the fire to this effortless couples boudoir session. This couple's passion for each other could not be more clear both on and off the camera screen.

I barely had to pose these two, because they couldn't keep their hands off each other!

After seeing his gorgeous bride in her stunning wedding gown, Nas was ready to hold her tight as they stripped down for the boudoir session.
Let's Go to the Beach

After the boudoir session, we headed to Dewey Beach for a continuation of the adventure-style elopement portraits. We then took a break from the two lovebirds to focus on some ocean-side boudoir of just Lynn. Even though it was early May and the ocean hadn't gotten the message that it was time to be warm, Lynn braved the waves and got fully into the water! She's bolder than me; I refuse to get into the shower until I start to see steam.
Fashion in the Forest

Not only is Lynn a professional model, but she's a fashion designer as well! Lynn is the creator behind The Bitt Store, a unique fashion line that focuses on "sustainable fashion habits like upcycling, reworking, and textile experimentation. All materials are ethically sourced through donations, thrift and final sales, and partnerships."

We headed to the Still Poetry Photography studio backyard to get some artistic shots of Lynn in a more experimental look and in her own two piece crocheted creation.

It was so impressive to see how many unique looks Lynn could pull off in less than 24 hours! We can't wait to get her back to the studio to create more art.
Ready for Your Own Session?

Feeling inspired by Lynn and Nas's couples session or Lynn's solo portraits? Send us a message! Our boudoir sessions are not one-size-fits-all. We develop creative concepts for each client who walks through our door, because we believe that boudoir is meant for every body. No two bodies are the same, so why should your boudoir portraits look like everyone else's?
